Private Prenatal Class

Service Description

Our one-to-one session will be catered to your needs. We will cover all of the basics to make sure you are up to speed and ready for your birth and the first few weeks with your new baby. You will answer a questionnaire to help guide our session so all of your needs are met. Our sessions will cover: Learning about the Stages of labour & birth what to do and how to be a good support person. Learn & practice pain-coping approaches. Creating a supportive environment at home and hospital. Affirming partner’s role and needs. Birth fears, cesarean birth, and informed consent. Medication options, hospital information, working with your medical team. Baby care basics & breastfeeding. Postpartum health and transition to parenthood. Birth plan preparation. Special Breastfeeding and Birth Resource Guide with community coupon codes. The exclusive pain-coping audio track for practice at home. Price $495 + GST * This series will be run online or in-person in your home. Please specify in your intake form which you prefer.

Cancellation Policy

Classes must have sufficient registration to run. Rarely, we need to cancel a class due to lack of registration. If that should happen, we will find another class for you, schedule a private class, or return your full registration, as you prefer. Full payment for classes should be received within one month of the class, to ensure your registration. Should you need to cancel for medical reasons anytime prior to the start of class, you can request to switch your class to a one on one online session. If you have given birth before the start of the class, a refund will be given minus a $100 non-refundable deposit. Please give us as much notice as possible so we can fill the spot. For all other cancellation reasons, up to 3 weeks before the class start date, a 50% refund will be issued. No refunds are available 3 weeks before the class starts and for the duration of the class. If you need to miss a single class, you can ask your mentor if you can come early or stay late to help set-up or clean-up during another time and get the low-down on what you missed.
