Service Description

I am a Holistic Birth Doula as well as a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and live in Kitsilano with my husband and our two beautiful children. You can find us most days playing at the beach and enjoying the community around us. I am so excited to be mentoring with Morag, to learn from her years of experience and knowledge and to be a part of this community. I look forward to working with clients in the Vancouver and Lower Mainland area. My interest in birth work and wanting to pursue working with birthing people started after the birth of my son. While I was pregnant with him, I hired a doula and felt incredibly supported and empowered by her. After my birth experience, I knew I wanted to provide the same kind of support for other birthing people. Training with Wise Woman Way of Birth as well as The Matrona with Whapio provided me with a foundation where my passion for birth and educating people about birth was ignited. I view birth as a normal physiological process and I believe that by being able to make informed choices about your birth you can experience the birth you dream of. My main priority is for you to birth your baby in a way that aligns with who you are. I will have an unwavering belief in your ability to grow, nourish, and birth your baby. As your doula, I will ensure that you feel knowledgeable and educated so that you feel empowered to bring your baby into the world with complete trust in yourself and your body. It is my honour to walk alongside you and support you in your birthing journey. I believe birth is beautiful and exciting and I will be a witness and remind you of your body’s innate power and wisdom to birth your baby. Packages start at $1195.

Cancellation Policy

Classes must have sufficient registration to run. Rarely, we need to cancel a class due to lack of registration. If that should happen, we will find another class for you, schedule a private class, or return your full registration, as you prefer. Full payment for classes should be received within one month of the class, to ensure your registration. Should you need to cancel for medical reasons anytime prior to the start of class, you can request to switch your class to a one on one online session. If you have given birth before the start of the class, a refund will be given minus a $100 non-refundable deposit. Please give us as much notice as possible so we can fill the spot. For all other cancellation reasons, up to 3 weeks before the class start date, a 50% refund will be issued. No refunds are available 3 weeks before the class starts and for the duration of the class. If you need to miss a single class, you can ask your mentor if you can come early or stay late to help set-up or clean-up during another time and get the low-down on what you missed.
