Service Description

I am the Owner and Operator of Held Wellness, a Full-Spectrum Doula working in the industry since 2014. I hold certifications as a yoga instructor, bodywork practitioner, doula and a Certified Car Seat Safety Technician (CPSAC). I’m continuously learning and completing trainings to be able to support families experiencing the transition of a new human being added to the mix. Currently living in Burnaby with my WILD toddler and partner. I keep myself busy with clients, researching birth and trying to keep up with my kiddo. I am fascinated by all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I view pregnancy and birth as normal, healthy events for you and your baby. My focus is on holding space for the experience both physically and emotionally, as well as meeting you where you are. PostPartum Support is available upon request

Cancellation Policy

Classes must have sufficient registration to run. Rarely, we need to cancel a class due to lack of registration. If that should happen, we will find another class for you, schedule a private class, or return your full registration, as you prefer. Full payment for classes should be received within one month of the class, to ensure your registration. Should you need to cancel for medical reasons anytime prior to the start of class, you can request to switch your class to a one on one online session. If you have given birth before the start of the class, a refund will be given minus a $100 non-refundable deposit. Please give us as much notice as possible so we can fill the spot. For all other cancellation reasons, up to 3 weeks before the class start date, a 50% refund will be issued. No refunds are available 3 weeks before the class starts and for the duration of the class. If you need to miss a single class, you can ask your mentor if you can come early or stay late to help set-up or clean-up during another time and get the low-down on what you missed.
