Birth Story Support

Struggling with your birth story, a birth trauma or perinatal loss? A private Birth Healing session is an invaluable opportunity to reflect on your experience and gain new perspective.

Even with the best preparation and support, sometimes childbirth can be traumatic. Often our birth experience is different than we had hoped or imagined. Sometimes, the different path travelled leaves us with a range of emotions that can include loss, anger, guilt, blame, shame, powerlessness, or fear. These emotions may surface within the first weeks postpartum, during another pregnancy, or even years later.

Individual birth healing sessions offer you the opportunity to:

  • Explore your birth story from a new perspective
  • Use art as a medium to understand your unique birth & healing journey
  • Identify small steps you can take towards healing

  • Who can benefit?

  • You must be at least 4 weeks postpartum, allowing time for physical healing and rest.
  • Mothers and fathers are welcome, but must do sessions separately as each of us has our own unique experience.
  • You are welcome to do a session months or years postpartum. You will know when you are ready.
  • Ideal for parents who have experienced a challenging birth, stillbirth or miscarraige.
