As a birth doula, I am there to support you no matter what happens and no matter what you decide.

When my first child was born in 1994, with the support of a midwife and my mom, I realized how empowering a well-supported labour and birth can be, no matter how birth happens.

I believe in your ability to give birth, and will help you realize this ability. One way or another you will give birth to your baby! As your doula, I will be there, working with your partner and other members of your birth team to soften the experience in whatever way your birth requires.

As a doula, former La Leche League Leader, and Birthing from Within Mentor who has worked with hundreds of families since 2005, I am honoured and privileged to support women and their partners as they experience birth and unfold as parents.

  • Two prenatal visits in your home
  • On-call 24/7 hours for your labour and birth
  • Labour support, including massage, position suggestions,
    hot packs, essential oils and the insight and knowledge
    that five years of experience brings to my practice
  • Knowledge of homeopathy, aromatherapy, and bach flower remedies
  • Support with use of T.E.N.S. machine
  • Experience with home, hospital and water births
  • Support for births attended by midwives, family practice doctors or OB/GYN's
  • One postpartum home visit and breastfeeding support
  • Availability of back-up doula care when needed
  • Commitment to support all flavours and forms of families.
